Sharp Aquos S3 Price in India February 2018 Price,Review and Release Date

Last year Xiaomi joined the Android One umbrella by launching the Mi A1, after Xiaomi Now, Japanese Mobile handset maker Sharp Company has also joined the Android One herd with the launch of the S3 smartphone in Japan.

Google is aggressively launching new smartphones in collaboration with various smartphone brands. Sharp, a Japanese smartphone brand which is usually known for innovative smartphones has announced a new smartphone, namely, the Sharp S3 under the Android One program.In the Android One second innings,The Sharp S3 is now official in Japan, and it comes with budget specifications such as Snapdragon 430 SoC, 3GB of RAM, and a Full HD display. But the highlights in the smartphone are the Android 8.0 Oreo OS, and it’s also a rugged smartphone.

Since the Sharp S3 is an Android One device, it comes with a stock Android interface. Moreover, the phone will get guaranteed Android updates for 24 months, and security updates for three years.

Sharp S3 Availability and Pricing.
The Sharp S3 will be available in the Japanese market for now, but the company may launch it in the Chinese market in the near future. Also, some rumours are suggesting Sharp’s entry to the Indian market, but we have to wait and see. The smartphone is priced at 32,400 Yen, which translates to $300.

Sharp S3 Specifications and Features.

The S3 is a rugged smartphone with IPX water resistant properties and IP6X dustproof properties. The smartphone is available in four colours options- Turquoise, Navy Black, White and Pink. The back panel of the smartphone just has Android One logo and Sharp logo at the bottom.

 The smartphone comes with 13.1-megapixel camera on the rear panel with LED flash. As for the selfies and video calling, users will get a 5-megapixel shooter. Powering the handset through the day is a 2,700mAh battery. The handset comes with a polycarbonate unibody build that features IPX5, IPX8 and IPX6 rating, which protects against the water and dust. In terms of connectivity, you get 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and USB Type-C.

It comes four colour options – blue, black, white and pink. The device is up for grabs in Japan for ¥32,400 (~Rs 19,000) without contract. It is also available on a 12-month contract from local operator Softbank. It’s unlikely that the device will be launched in India.

The sad part is the Sharp S3 lacks a fingerprint scanner, which is surprising in 2018. It flaunts a 5-inch IGZO display with a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. At the heart of phone, there’s a Snapdragon 430 SoC, which again disappoints as Qualcomm launched it more than two years ago.
